San Pedro de Macorís, March 12, 2025.  A tragic traffic accident that occurred on the Eastern Highway, at kilometer 10 in the Cumayasa area, resulted in the death of  Ruth Delania Sosa Marte , a resident of the  Barrio Lindo sector  of San Pedro de Macorís.

The accident occurred in the afternoon when a  gray  Mazda Demio vehicle was traveling east-west  with three occupants on board. The car was driven by  Angela Merici Ubiera Sosa , who was traveling with  Maribel Sosa Polanco  and the deceased,  Ruth Sosa
